She’s a member of red carpet royalty, and on an upcoming Hawaiian voyage of Cunard Lines’ Queen Victoria, entertainment journalist Rona Barrett– the perennial queen of the A-list scene– will be on board to raise awareness for the needs of senior citizens.

Departing from Los Angeles on February 17, 2011, The Queen Victoria’s Hawaiian Adventure will set sail for a two-week, round-trip tour of Hilo (Hawaii) Honolulu (Oahu) Nawiliwili (Kauai), Lahaina (Maui) and a short stop at Ensenda (Mexico). Along with the tropical scenery, passengers will also get an intimate glimpse of the glitterati lifestyle as Barrett regales guests with tales of Tinseltown stars as part of the Cunard Insights program. Ms. Barrett’s recollections will be a sampling of the star-studded stories in her one-woman show, “Rona Barrett: Nothing But the Truth,” which premiered at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills in June 2010.

A happening with heart, the behind-the-scenes look at stardom will benefit The Rona Barrett Foundation’s efforts to build The Golden Inn and Cottages, a pilot facility that can be constructed in communities throughout the U.S. to provide affordable housing and care, among many other needs of the elderly.
