“Here’s what we’re facing: By 2030, the number of Californians age 55 and older living with Alzheimer’s disease will double to 1.1 million. During the same time period, the number of Latinos living with Alzheimer’s will triple.“
“Current California baby boomers age 55 and older have a one in eight risk of developing the disease. Furthermore, while deaths from other chronic diseases are declining, death rates from Alzheimer’s have risen 66 percent since 2000.”
“Alzheimer’s disease will bankrupt California’s medical system in 20 years…”

Extensive research is pointing towards diets, injuries and other factors which lead up to this condition. Plus, too many doctors misdiagnose forms of dementia for Alzheimers which leads to senior too often being warehoused where they do not receive the kind of mental stimulation they need to function at their highest level.
Courts grant too much control to children who are focused more on siphoning off their parents estates or bank accounts and judges are too apathetic to care.
Abuse of the elderly is one of the most rampant crimes committed in our western society today.
Older baby boomers need to plan ahead and people need to be monitored by the care their elders receive.
I wish your foundation the most success and hope that it is intended for these purposes and not for using it as a tax write-off.
