PBS segment on Alzheimer’s Disease

I was watching this segment on PBS last night about Washington State’s studies on Alzheimer’s disease and how low insulin levels may play a large part in the disease. I have provided the link because the video is attached to it and there is also a transcript from the people interviewed for the segment. This is a very informative and eye opening study that I hope everyone will share and get something from.

    This segment brought to mind the recent studies finding that cinnamon improves insulin sensitivity; it is tempting to connect the dots and suggest that cinnamon may also be helpful to deter Alzheimer’s….
